Legal Help & Legal Aid

Lumsdons have successfully secured a contract with the Legal Services Commission (LSC).  We are able to continue to carry out publicly funded face-to-face advice service and representation in Court in the area of Family Law including:

·         divorce

·         financial proceedings following separation

·         injunctions

·         care proceedings

·         issues with children including residence and contact    

We have increased our Legal Aid work in volume in recent years as well as increasing our level of personnel and support staff; this being at a time when other firms have discontinued such work.  Mr James Rogers is the Family Law Partner who manages the department responsibility; Mrs Kate Shrimpton is our Family Law Solicitor who specialises in Legal Aid work and Miss Eleanor Grindley our Trainee Solicitor.
